About
How it all started.
Keegs & Things began in 2012 with a love for sweets and a determination to get things just right. What started as a homemade macaron tower for a close friend’s wedding soon grew into a deeper exploration of pastry techniques, shaped by balance, texture, and restraint.
That foundation naturally led to Russian honey cakes, where delicate layers and subtle sweetness aligned perfectly with my approach to dessert. Today, Keegs & Things brings together classic technique and comforting flavours, creating honey cakes and macarons that feel refined, familiar, and never overly sweet.
Meet Ann
Keegs & Things is a small, family-run business that began as a passion project in my home kitchen, built between school pickups, late nights, and the hours outside of corporate work. Guided by classic pastry techniques, my approach centres on balance — refined flavours, delicate textures, and cakes that develop beautifully over time. Today, I create honey cakes and macarons in small batches, each one made with intention, patience, and genuine care — never overly sweet, and always leaving you wanting just one more slice.
